Rant: No-meeting Wednesdays caught on in my building and it's a game changer.
Honestly, having that midweek block for deep work has cleared my backlog like nothing else.

Right? I totally get what rileymartinez means about why this wasn't standard before. That protected time lets you actually finish things without constant interruptions. It really is a game changer for getting work done.

How is it that every time you actually block off time to work, someone pops a last-minute meeting right in the middle of it? @the_ivan gets it, that protected focus is gold until your calendar gets blown up by three "quick sync" invites. It's like they see a clear space and just have to fill it.
