When did your mid size dog hit the 40 lb mark and suddenly feel like a different animal?
My lab mix crossed 45 lbs at his 9 month vet visit last Tuesday and it was like a switch flipped, he pulls harder on hikes but also guards the couch more, so do you treat a 40 lb dog like a big dog or a small one, and where do you draw that line for things like harnesses and dog park rules?
