TIL my go-to meditation app's guide exacerbated my anxiety instead of curing it
Honestly, I relied on a specific breathing exercise guide during a panic attack, but the instructions were too vague and left me feeling disconnected. Tbh, the guide assumed a baseline calmness I didn't have, making the whole experience frustrating and counterproductive. Ngl, I ended up more agitated than when I started, and it made me question the quality control of these digital guides. We need to acknowledge that poorly designed meditation tools can do more harm than good.

Wow, I mean I used to brush off those complaints but this actually makes sense now.

Yep, completely get it now. I was that person brushing off every critique. My own arrogance on full display. Finally caught up to me last week. Had to admit I was totally wrong. Now the complaints seem glaringly obvious. Classic case of being the last to know.

What if you're just reacting to pressure now? @thea_jones caving doesn't suddenly validate all those complaints.
