Gel hairstyles won't stay for long hours
I'm into doing bold gel styles for client photos. The shapes lose form too fast. What's your go-to method for lasting hold?

When you say the shapes lose form too fast... it ties into this bigger thing I see where we expect stuff to hold up but it's all temporary. Like how quick fixes in life just don't stick around. For gel styles, I skip using just one product and go for a combo. A little hairspray on the dry gel once it's set... it locks the shape in way longer. That extra layer acts like a shell so the bold lines don't sag. It's basically building a structure instead of hoping gel alone does the job.

That combo approach shows up everywhere once you start looking. In my experience, whether it's saving money or learning a skill, relying on just one method usually falls short. Building with layers, like you said, creates something that actually holds up over time.

So we're using hairspray over gel now? Next you'll tell me to wrap my head in packing tape for extra hold. I guess if we're building structures, my hair should have a full foundation and load-bearing walls. Just don't ask me about the moving costs for that much product.
