That's actually a super smart place to look for inspiration. Vintage packaging from any product is a goldmine, not just food. Old magazines, hardware store signs, even comic books have awesome lettering. The colors and layouts from those old ads are half the fun too. It's a great way to find styles that feel unique instead of using the same fonts everyone else does.

Old matchbox labels have some of the best tiny typography. That worn, printed texture is something digital fonts just can't copy perfectly. It's those small, real world details that really help a design stand out from the crowd.

Ever check out old seed packets? Same vibe.
