Serious question, does perfect glass really matter?

My latest piece has visible seeds and it's getting rave reviews. I think character beats perfection every time.

Wait, I get what you mean, but a perfect character can still have loads of personality! They're not really opposites, you know? A well written one just feels real, flaws and all.
