PSA: That $120 'smart' coffee mug I bought last year is a total waste
I got the Ember mug as a gift to myself, thinking it would keep my coffee hot all morning. It needs to charge on a special base, the app is clunky, and after about 8 months the battery just stopped holding a charge for more than 20 minutes. Some people love the exact temperature control, but for me it was a pricey lesson in over-engineered gadgets. Has anyone else had a smart home gadget that just created more hassle than it solved?
