Just a heads up, my drone's GPS cut out while filming over a lake. Scary stuff.

Was it the GPS signal or just the home point lock? Water can mess with the signal pretty badly.

Question if water is always the villain here. My phone GPS works fine in light rain. Drones often handle spray from rivers without dropping signal. A temporary loss isn't the end of the world. Most devices recover once they dry a bit. We might be overstating the risk.
