Oh come on, it's just a drop of soap... people act like it's some huge fountain pen crime. If it makes a scratchy pen write smoother for you, who cares if it's a "myth" or not? It's not like we're doing chemistry experiments here, we're just trying to write. Seems like a weird thing to get worked up about honestly.
