Didn't use enough risers and the top of the casting collapsed

So they tried to pour a whole top section with what, like two risers? That's just asking for trouble. All that molten metal has nowhere for the air to go, so it traps huge pockets. The weight has no support either, so it just caves in on itself. You'd end up with a messed up casting that looks like a collapsed cake.

Using just two risers on a big top section is basically inviting disaster, @victor266. It's like they wanted to make a metal sponge instead of a solid piece, with all those trapped air pockets. The weight had no real support, so it just pancaked under its own heat. No wonder it came out looking like a failed baking experiment, lmao.
