I figured out how to get old bottle caps to stick to a metal sheet without drilling holes.
I was making a wall piece with about 50 caps I found along the riverbank in St. Louis, but I didn't want to ruin them. I tried a few glues that failed, but a small dot of E6000 adhesive on the back of each cap, pressed on for 30 seconds, did the trick. It's been up for a month now with no issues. What's your go-to method for attaching metal pieces you find?

Honestly, I've had luck with those super strong neodymium magnets. I glue a small one to the back of the found object with epoxy, then it just sticks to a painted steel sheet. Lets you rearrange everything without any mess.

Ever worry about the epoxy letting go over time? @uma306 has the right idea with magnets, but I've had better luck using that double-sided foam tape made for picture hanging.
