My delivery van's health permit sticker peeled off overnight before a big inspection

I thought replacing it was a quick trip downtown, but the new online portal system crashed and I was stuck there for almost 4 hours. Has anyone else dealt with this at the health department on Figueroa?

Man, that place is a nightmare. I mean, their whole system goes down like once a month. You just have to block out your whole day for anything there.

Which specific location are you talking about? My local branch has that exact same problem with their servers. It's so frustrating to plan around.

Have you tried calling ahead to see if their system is actually working that day? I've learned to do that after showing up three times in a row to a "network outage" sign taped to the door. They'll usually tell you straight up if it's down, saves you the drive. Also, I started going right when they open, since the servers seem to handle fewer people better early in the morning. It's still a pain, but at least you don't waste your whole afternoon standing around waiting.
