My delivery driver got a flat tire right before a 50-person catering gig in Santa Monica.
I had to load all the hot boxes into my own car and drive them myself, arriving 20 minutes late but the client was cool about it. Anyone have a good backup delivery service they trust on the west side?

Total nightmare scenario" is right. I got stuck on the 10 free for almost two hours once because of some fender bender that backed everything up. It turned what should have been a 45 minute drive into this whole thing where I missed dinner and my kid's soccer game. Santa Monica traffic is its own special kind of hell, like the city was designed by someone who hates cars and people. Flat tires you can fix in an hour, but that gridlock just sits there and laughs at you.
