Had a brutal Tuesday last week where my fryer oil got contaminated with soap residue from a rushed cleaning

Ended up dumping $90 worth of fresh oil and losing half my lunch rush because I didn't catch the mistake until customers started complaining the fries tasted weird has anyone else had a cleaning crew mess up their equipment like that?

$90 of oil down the drain? That's brutal man. I would've been sick watching that pour out. Never had a cleaning crew mess up my fryer like that but I did have a rookie cook mix up the syrup lines on my soda machine once. Had customers telling me their Coke tasted like flat Sprite before I figured it out.

That "tasted weird" part hit home, last time I messed up I blamed the fryer for a week before realizing it was me.
