Had a custom order for a large-scale floral arch for a wedding in Savannah. The client wanted a specific, trailing white clematis that was out of season locally. Sourcing it took me three weeks and five different wholesalers before I finally got enough that wouldn't wilt in the Georgia heat.

Sounds like the clematis was more high-maintenance than the bride.

The florist went through a lot to make that happen. Isn't that just what a good vendor does?

Actually used to think vendors just did the basics, but @the_skyler has a point. Going the extra mile like that is what makes them great, right?
