Watched a buddy fight a major brand for eight months over a buckling laminate. They kept saying his moisture barrier failed, but the core issue was a concrete slab sweating like crazy. The system is totally stacked against seeing the real problem.

That concrete slab detail is wild, no wonder the moisture barrier looked bad. Brands love blaming the easy target instead of finding the real cause. Totally see what you mean, @the_phoenix, the system is set up to ignore the hard stuff.
