I thought that new click-lock vinyl plank was just a gimmick until a job in Tacoma last month

The homeowner bought this stuff that was supposed to be waterproof and install over almost anything. I was ready for a fight, but we got 800 square feet down in a day with just a utility knife and a tapping block. The lock was so tight I couldn't believe it didn't need glue. Has anyone else run into a product that changed their mind like that?

Yeah, that stuff is no joke... I was a total skeptic too. Spent a whole weekend putting some in our basement laundry room, fully expecting a disaster. My only real tool was a healthy sense of regret... but it actually clicked together and looks halfway decent.
