Found a full set of dentures under a floor I was pulling up in a Tacoma bungalow last month
I was demoing the old linoleum in a kitchen, and when I pulled back a corner near the sink, there they were, grinning up at me from the subfloor. The homeowner had no idea who they belonged to, and we just stared at them for a good minute. Ever find something truly weird under an old floor?

My buddy found a shoebox full of old love letters behind a wall. All from the 1940s. They just left them there for the next person.

Found a buddy of mine pulling up carpet in a 1920s house and he finds a single high heel shoe just sitting there under the padding. Like, not a pair, just one shoe, all scuffed up and crusty. We joked for weeks that some lady got so mad at a date she just ripped one off and left it there, haha. Still creeps me out thinking about what happened in that room.
