Heads up about that new 'quick-set' acrylic filler from a trade show

Used it on a quarter crack for a client's hunter in Lexington, and it set up way too fast in the heat, like in under a minute. Anyone have a reliable summer alternative that gives you more working time?

Yeah, that "set up way too fast" part is exactly why I switched. I used to swear by those quick-set types for field repairs. Had a similar mess last August, it kicked before I could even smooth it. Now I just keep a tube of the regular set stuff in a cooler bag. The extra few minutes make all the difference when your hands are sweating.
