Had to fire my top sales guy in Dallas last quarter for lying about client meetings, and the debate in my head was whether to do it fast or try to save him.

I called him into my office on a Tuesday after verifying the false reports, told him it was his last day, and now I'm wondering if other leaders think a quick cut is better than a long fix when trust is broken.
