My ultrasonic cleaner shorted out mid-cycle on a Thursday

Was trying to get the gunk off my extraction tools before a 3pm client and the thing just sparked and died, so I had to scrub everything by hand with rubbing alcohol for 20 minutes instead, anyone else had a machine fail at the worst possible time?

Had the same thing happen with my old cleaner right before a busy Saturday. The smell of burnt plastic still haunts me lol. Ended up using a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol for like 15 minutes straight, my hands were so dry afterward. Now I keep a backup cleaner in my drawer just in case, learned that lesson the hard way.

Fifteen minutes straight with a toothbrush? My hand is cramping just thinking about that. Burnt plastic smell is the worst too, gets into everything.
