That condo board fine for a dusty hallway caught me off guard

I clean houses for a living and parked my cart in the hallway for 2 minutes while I grabbed supplies from my truck last Tuesday. Got a $75 fine from the condo board for 'obstructing the common area' even though nobody was around. Anyone else dealt with condo boards being this petty about small stuff?

Whoa, that's wild. A hallway fine for two minutes while you're working? That's next level. I've heard of boards hitting people for stuff like leaving shoes out or having a doormat that's too thick, but a work cart during a quick trip is just mean. It makes you wonder if someone on the board has nothing better to do than watch the security cameras all day. Did they give you a warning first, or just straight to the fine?

Gotta disagree a little bit though. Most HOAs don't have bored board members watching cameras all day, they usually just have a management company that reviews footage if someone complains. Still, two minutes is ridiculous either way and they definitely should have sent a warning first before jumping straight to a fine.
