Inside corner tape went on perfect for once and it felt great
I was taping a bathroom remodel last week and those inside corners were giving me trouble like always. Usually I end up with a bunch of air pockets or the tape folds over itself. This time I remembered a trick about soaking the tape in water for a few seconds before applying it. I tried it with a fresh bucket of mud and a six inch knife, and it just smoothed right out without any fuss. Took a couple passes to get the mud layer even, but the tape stuck flat on the first go. It saved me a ton of time on sanding and fixing mistakes later. Honestly, it made the whole job feel way less stressful. Small things like that really boost your confidence on the next one.

Try it with the paper tape instead of the mesh kind. The mesh can get weird when its wet but paper lays flat if you don't soak it too long.

Mesh tape bonds stronger in my garage, no bubbles with proper bedding.

You wet the tape first? In my experience that makes it tear way too easy and can cause bubbles later. I just use pre-mixed mud and press it in dry.
