Serious question, has anyone else had a title block just refuse to update?
I was finishing a set of architectural plans for a small office building in Springfield. The client changed the project number, so I updated the title block attribute in the main template file. It took me 4 hours to realize the change wasn't propagating to the 30+ layout tabs because the sheet set manager was still pointing to the old block definition. I had to manually re-associate every single sheet. Has anyone found a better way to force a global title block update?

Man, does that sheet set manager just decide to stop working sometimes? I used to think it was the best way to handle sheets until I got burned the same way. Now I just avoid it for title blocks completely. I make the change in the main file and then use a simple script to sync it across all layouts. It saves so many headaches. Why does a tool that's supposed to help end up causing more work?

Tell me about it. I swear I spent more time fighting with that manager than actually drawing. It got to the point where my own script felt like a duct tape solution, but hey, if it works, it works. Sometimes the fancy tool is just a trap for people who like to feel organized. My whole workflow is just a pile of bandaids holding together other bandaids at this point.

Ugh, yes! That sheet set manager thing is the worst (I've totally been there). I once had to do the exact same re-linking dance for like forty sheets, it was a nightmare.
