Just finished a drawing set with exactly 1,234 individual details called out
I was cleaning up the title block on a big commercial project and the detail count just jumped out at me, a perfect sequential number. It made me think about how much unseen work goes into even the most standard looking sheets. Do you guys ever track metrics like that, or is it just me?

Unseen work" is a good way to put it. I never used to count details, thought it was just busywork. Seeing a clean number like that actually makes it feel real, like you can see the effort stacked up.

Exactly, it turns invisible effort into something you can point to. Like tracking how many times you revised a document or how many customer emails you answered in a week. Those numbers stop the work from just vanishing into the background. It proves the mountain of small things you did actually existed, even if no one saw you do them. That stack of effort becomes your own proof of work.
