Warning: my $1 white glue and flour clock repair took 4 days instead of 4 hours.

I tried patching a broken ceramic vase with Elmer's and all-purpose flour instead of proper epoxy and it took three full days to dry and still cracked, has anyone else learned the hard way that some dollar store shortcuts just don't work?

lol "still cracked" - how wet was the flour mix when you applied it?

I switched to JB Weld for a busted teapot handle and it held in 15 minutes. That dollar store gamble isn't worth the wait.
