Just checked the ingredients on Dollar Store super glue

Turns out it's 80% the same stuff as the name brand, which is great, but it says 'dries clear' in tiny letters on the back and mine dried yellow. Anyone else get burned by a specific dollar store glue surprise?

My friend Kyle used dollar store super glue to fix a broken mug and it turned this gross yellow streak right down the side. Looked like he glued it with old pee.

Are we really acting like a stained mug is a tragedy though? Just use it as a paintbrush holder or something, it's not like Kyle superglued your grandma's heirloom vase back together with that junk. Dollar store glue is like $1.25, you kinda get what you pay for, especially when it comes to clear drying time. If the mug still holds coffee and doesn't leak, that's a win in my book, yellow streak or not. Plus that old pee color kind of adds character if you ask me.
