Told my plants were dying from too much water, turned out it was too little light

Had a buddy look at my terrarium last month and he said the soil was fine, it was the lack of light killing the fittonia. Moved it to a south window and it bounced back in a week. Anyone else had a plant issue that wasn't what you thought?

Wait, your fittonia actually bounced back in a week? I had no idea they could recover that fast from a light issue. Mine always just got crispy and dramatic no matter what I did.

Take it from someone who's killed two fittonias before finally figuring it out @karenw23, sometimes these plants just want us to earn their trust. I've noticed the same pattern with a lot of my plants now - once I stopped stressing and just let them adjust, they actually got better faster than I expected. Guess it's like most things where you try too hard and it just makes everything worse lol.
