Neighbor said my fence was crooked, spent 3 hours re-leveling it
Old man two houses down walked over while I was setting posts and just said 'son, that rail is gonna sag by August because you didn't check your string line twice.' Pulled out his own level and showed me I was off by half a bubble. Anyone else have a random neighbor call them out on something obvious?

Bet your old neighbor was probably the same guy who watched you mix the concrete and was just itching to say something. Half a bubble might not matter on a short fence but on a long run that gets magnified like crazy. String lines are the real MVP for fence work, levels only help on the individual posts. Good on him for catching it now instead of when the whole thing starts leaning in June.
