Had to pick between a $200 paint sprayer or doing the whole garage by hand with a roller

I went with the sprayer thinking it would save me a weekend, but the cleanup and masking took forever, plus I got some drips on the concrete floor. Honestly, I'm not sure if it was worth the extra hassle for a space I only use for storage. Anyone have a good method for fixing paint drips on sealed concrete?

My last garage took three days with a roller, so the sprayer still wins for me. The cleanup is a pain, but I found using a five gallon bucket with a paint bag liner cut that time in half. For those drips, a razor scraper and some mineral spirits on a rag usually takes care of it without hurting the seal.

Yeah the paint bag liner trick is a game changer. I mean I tried that on my shed last fall and it saved me from having to scrub out the bucket for an hour. Still got a few drips on the concrete pad though, had to go back with a scraper like you said. Mineral spirits worked but man that smell sticks around.

Three days with a roller sounds like a DIY vacation, not a garage paint job.
