Hit 300 shots on my Gaggia Classic before the boiler gave out

Finally had to replace the boiler in my Gaggia Classic after running 300 shots through it in about 10 months. The seal started leaking bad and I figured it was cheaper to fix than buy new. Cost me $45 for the part and an hour with a socket wrench. Anybody else keep a shot count on their machine and run into problems at a specific number?

Lol 300 shots? I've had my Gaggia for like 4 years and I'm pretty sure I'm way past that. I don't even wanna know how many times I've had to fix it. My boiler's probably held together with hope and coffee oil at this point.

Hope and coffee oil" is basically the official Gaggia maintenance manual at this point. I'm convinced my machine runs on 30% prayers and 70% old puck crumbles that fell into the reservoir when I wasn't looking.
