I finally stopped using compressed air to clean console vents

I used to blast dust into my PS4 vents with compressed air cans for years. Then last month I took the shell off and saw how much gunk was actually packed deeper inside. Now I use a soft makeup brush and a small handheld vacuum instead. It takes maybe 10 extra minutes but the airflow is way better. Has anyone else found a weird tool that works better than the standard stuff?

That's the same reason I stopped using Swiffers on my hardwood floors. They just push the dust around instead of picking it up.

Totally get that. Feels like half the cleaning products out there just move the mess to a different spot. Makes you wonder if they even test this stuff on real dirt.
