The airport kiosk lines for SIMs are brutal. Spent half my first day in Bangkok just staring at the wall trying to kill time.

Ugh, that sounds awful, @jade271. I just grab an eSIM online now before I even get on the plane. Saves the whole airport wait.

What's the point of landing excited if you're just gonna stand in line for a SIM? I had the same mess in Lisbon last year, wasted a whole afternoon. Makes you want to just use roaming, but that costs too much. It's like every country makes it harder than it needs to be. Seriously, we need a better way to do this.
