Was dead wrong about Procreate being overhyped for digital art
I spent like 3 years using free software on my old laptop thinking Procreate was just some trendy iPad thing for amateurs. Finally borrowed a friend's iPad Pro last month and tried it during a trip to Portland, and the brush engine blew my mind - the way it handles pressure sensitivity is wild compared to what I was using. Has anyone else switched from desktop software to Procreate and found it actually changed their workflow?

That part about the brush engine really hit me because I had the exact same experience with pressure sensitivity... I used to think my old Wacom tablet was fine until I tried Procreate and realized my lines were always fighting me. What nobody talks about is how Procreate actually changed my approach to starting drawings I used to spend hours on sketching in layers but now I just jump in with one layer and paint over mistakes like it's real canvas. The simplicity forced me to stop overthinking and just make marks which is something no desktop software ever did for me. It's almost like the limits of the iPad made me a better artist somehow.
