Just realized my gallery wall was a flex, not a portfolio
I used to cram every piece I finished into my online showcase, figured more work meant more credibility. Then a buyer in Portland told me my page felt like a yard sale, not a studio. Now I only post 6 to 8 pieces that actually fit a theme, and I rotate them every 3 months. Has anyone else cut their showcase way down and seen better responses, or am I just overthinking this?

Gotta say I see it the opposite way... hiding work feels like you’re afraid of showing process, and buyers love seeing how you got there. Maybe a yard sale, but some folks dig digging through piles for the weird gem.

Ain't that the truth, most folks just wanna see the real deal, not some polished show.
