I've been posting my digital art at 72 DPI for my whole portfolio and a client just asked for a print file.

Used to think 72 DPI was fine for anything on a screen. Then I saw my art printed on a cheap event flyer and it looked like a blurry mess. Realized people will take your digital files and put them anywhere. Now I start everything at 300, just in case.
