TIL my EDC pouch was a brick because I shoved 14 things in a 6 liter bag
Sat in my car outside a Walgreens in Boise 3 months back and dumped the thing on the passenger seat, realized I was hauling around 4 pens and 2 knives I touch maybe once a month. Anyone else figure out their carry got fat over time, and what finally got you to strip it down?
hauling around 4 pens and 2 knives I touch maybe once a month" sounds like a guy who's never had a pen die or needed a blade at the worst moment. The whole point of a pouch is that it's there when the day goes sideways, not that every item earns its keep weekly. Trim the junk, sure, but "I don't use it much" is how people end up back at Walgreens buying the thing they tossed.
