My cousin paid twenty bucks for a story idea app last month. It suggested the killer was a sentient toaster. Sometimes the silly ones are the most fun to think about.

Bought a "character name generator" once that just gave me different spellings of Bob. Bob, Bobb, Bawb. Felt like a real chump. My detective duck story would just star Detective Quackson Bawb. Probably still better than my own ideas.
