Blew a hydraulic hose on my 60 ton at the Fort Wayne job, and the backup plan was a mess
Last Thursday around 2pm I was swinging a truss load when the boom hoist hose let go and dumped oil all over the deck. I got the load down slow and safe but then spent 45 minutes hunting for a replacement hose and nobody in town had the right fitting. Ended up borrowing one off a competitor's rig parked two lots over, which felt weird but he was cool about it. What do you all keep on the truck for spare hoses, and do you carry pre-made assemblies or just fittings and crimp them yourself?
