Question about the 'no heat' trend for curls

I heard a stylist in Phoenix say heat styling is always damaging, but I've seen great results with a good protectant and my Dyson Airwrap set to 150 degrees. What's your take on using low heat versus avoiding it completely?

Good protectant and low heat" is a solid plan that works for me too.

Notice that a lot. The simple, basic plan is usually the one that works. People overcomplicate stuff.
