My $60 UV nail lamp died after 4 months of weekly use

I picked up a no-name LED/UV lamp from a beauty supply shop downtown because it looked identical to the big names, and the price was tempting. It stopped curing my gel polish evenly last Tuesday, and now my clients are waiting extra time while I switch to the backup. Has anyone else had a cheap lamp fail on them, or did I just get a lemon?

I used to swear by those cheap lamps, figured they were just as good for a fraction of the price. But yeah, mine started flickering and leaving tacky spots after about 3 months of regular use, so I totally get where you're coming from. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
