Update: I stopped watching flat earth videos at 2am and started reading the other side's links first

For two years I'd fall down these YouTube holes in my Chicago apartment and come out ready to argue with everyone, but last spring I started a rule where I read one real debunk before I let myself watch the video. Turns out half the stuff I was repeating came from clips with no source, so now I just ask people for the actual study or doc, and 9 times out of 10 they don't have one. Anyone else try reading the other side first, or does it just kill the fun for you?
