I used to think the whole thing could have been faked in a studio, but then I looked up how multiple independent observatories tracked the Apollo missions in real time. Amateur radio operators in 14 different countries confirmed the signals, which would be nearly impossible to fake in 1969 without thousands of people keeping quiet. Anyone here actually work with old tracking equipment and know more about this?
