That guy who told me to use a pH meter for my city's tap water was dead on.
My buddy Mike in Wilmington swore my weak compost was the water, not the mix. Took 6 months of salty advice but a $15 meter proved he was right, now I dig out the jug for every batch. Anyone else's local water secretly wrecking their pile?
