Now I think the real issue is how we talk past each other instead of listening.

People get so worked up over these debates, but does any of it actually matter? Most of us are just repeating stuff we heard somewhere anyway. It's not that serious in the grand scheme of things.

Honestly mark_hernandez12, sometimes it's the tiny, dumb stuff that flips a switch. Like trying a new coffee place and realizing your old brew actually tastes burnt, or hearing one clear fact in a podcast that makes a whole issue click. People act like minds only change from big speeches, but it's often a small, practical thing that breaks through the noise. My cousin went from never recycling to being full-on green because his trash can kept smelling awful and the smaller recycling bin fixed it. Not everything needs a grand reason.
