Two inches of mud over a vapor barrier is a silent killer
Poured a 12x14 pad in Phoenix last Tuesday and the GC had laid plastic right on the dirt, no gravel. We peeled it back after finishing and the whole underside was sweating, trapped water beads everywhere. I told him we'd either rip it out or I'm walking, has anyone else dealt with this on a residential slab?

Used to think plastic right on dirt was fine, but seeing that trapped moisture after the pour changed my mind completely. You're right to walk, that slab's gonna have problems down the road.
