Shoutout to the guy who showed me the freezer trick for swollen laptop batteries

Had a Dell Latitude with a puffed up battery that wouldn't come out. Customer wanted their data. Tried everything for an hour. Another tech at the shop said to put the whole laptop in a freezer bag for 15 minutes. The cold made the plastic case contract just enough to pop it free. Anyone else have a weird trick for stuck parts?

Try a tiny drop of isopropyl alcohol on the stuck part. It evaporates fast and can break the grip without hurting the electronics.
