Why does nobody talk about the snack habits at comic cons?

Ngl, the amount of pizza and energy drinks consumed during marathon comic sessions is insane.

Does anyone ever eat a vegetable there, or is it just a rotating buffet of cold fries and half-eaten pretzels (I swear I saw someone with a whole rotisserie chicken once)?

Seeing someone with a whole rotisserie chicken doesn't surprise me anymore. I started packing carrot sticks and bell peppers to avoid the fry fatigue. Why bother with sad pretzels when you can have crunch? It's a game changer for staying full without feeling gross.

I read a nutrition blog last Tuesday that said crunchy vegetables trigger more chewing, which tricks your brain into feeling fuller. @ryan_rodriguez47 is onto something with the bell peppers, because that extra crunch really does change how you eat. The blog explained that the water content in veggies like carrots helps with hydration too, so you're not just snacking mindlessly. I've been packing cucumber slices instead of chips and it's made a huge difference in my afternoon energy.
