Hit 75 antique mall maps today, most from towns that no longer exist

I was just counting my collection for insurance and realized 75 of them are from ghost towns or places that got swallowed up by bigger cities. My favorite is one from 1923 showing a whole street grid where there's now just a soybean field. Anyone else keep track of how many of their maps show places you can't actually visit anymore?

That soybean field detail really hit me. Honestly, it's wild to think about all those streets and houses just... gone. Like someone flipped a switch and the whole town vanished. Tbh, I have a few maps like that too, and it makes me feel a little sad every time I look at them. There's something heavy about holding a piece of a place that only exists on paper now. I'm glad you're keeping them safe, even if the insurance count is a bit morbid.
