Hot take: I spent $80 on a coffee subscription that was just not for me
I got talked into a fancy coffee subscription six months ago. It was for a single origin, light roast from a roaster everyone online seemed to love. The first bag was okay, but it was super bright and acidic, which I'm not a huge fan of. I kept getting it, thinking my taste would change or I'd learn to like it, but I just never did. I was paying $20 every two weeks for coffee I had to force myself to drink. I finally canceled after four shipments, so that's $80 down the drain for coffee I didn't enjoy. I guess the lesson is to really know what flavor profile you like before you commit to a subscription. Has anyone else signed up for a service only to find the coffee just wasn't their style?

Ugh, that's basically paying for the sad feeling you get after drinking it.
